Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943 was developed by 1C Entertainment and released in 2009. Travel back to 1943 in Tunisia and play as a legendary commander to lead a full-scale military campaign against the Axis forces. Every RTS game has its own strengths and for this game, the focus is on strategic planning in an open-world simulation. Reviews showed that some players particularly enjoyed building and playing defensively around trenches.
